@omgmog Hi! Your post made me quite curious (I use a kindle for convenience but i really like things like that). I looked them up on AliExpress and the ones I found, all between 55 and 65 euros, explicitly say “not compatible with any other firmware”. As far as you know, can they still be flashed via SD like you mention, or are they completely locked down? Thank you in advance!

@jollino They can still be flashed by SD, but as it stands right now will never be flashable over USB. There's a good list of working/problematic firmwares here: https://
